Z
- Z-95 Headhunter: A compact, twin-engine atmospheric
fighter craft that can be modified for space travel. A single pilot controls
the fighter. These outdated ships were still in service on backwater worlds
during the time of the Galactic Civil War, which is a testament to their durability
and construction. The Incom Corporation used the Z-95 as the basis for the
X-wing starfighter. [HSE, RSB, SWSB, SWVG]
- Zabrak: The Zabrak are an early spacefaring race distinguished
by patters of vestigial horns on their heads. Zabrak hail from many worlds
and have been spacefarers for so long they define themselves and each other
according to their colony of origin. The harshness of Iridonia, their homeworld,
forged in the Zabrak an iron will to survive. Driven to escape their world,
they sought to obtain the knowledge of space flight. When Duros scouts began
exploring the Mid Rim Territories, they encountered Zabrak in eight sovereign
colonies in five different systems. Though subjugated under the harsh rule
of the Empire, the Zabrak colonies eventually regained their independence.
Zabrak possess a great amount of confidence, and they believe there is nothing
they can't accomplish. While this innate attitude could lead to feelings of
superiority, most Zabrak don't look down on others. They believe in themselves
and are proud and strong, but they rarely project any negativity toward those
of other species. Zabrak tend to be dedicated, intense, and focused, sometimes
appearing obsessive and single-minded to other species. Humanoid, distinguished
by patterns of vestigial horns atop their heads. The average Zabrak stands
1.8 meters tall. They come from Iridonia or one of eight colonies in the Mid
Rim region of space. They speak, read, and write Zabrak and Basic. Example
names include: Aagh Odok, Eeth Koth, and Kooth Aan. Zabrak adventurers love
to explore the galaxy. No challenge is too big to deter a Zabrak. They range
from scoundrels on distant colony worlds, to noble diplomats and merchants,
to scouts, soldiers, and even Jedi. Due to their heightened awareness, they
have strong survival instincts and quick reactions. They also have superior
defenses due to being adapted to the very tough and trying environment of
their homeworld. Darth Maul was a Zabrak. [SWRPG3SE, SWTPM]

and daring, and she often teams up with Jodo Kast and Puggles Trodd. She enjoys
personal combat and appreciates the fine things that credits can buy, but
the hunt is the most important thing in her life. She fears she will die senselessly
-- to her, this means naturally and not in combat -- so she often tempts disaster
by taking huge risks. After she killed Mageye the Hutt, the Hutts placed a
