• zat: See zat’nik’tel. [SG1, SGA]
• zat’nik’tel: A weapon which stuns a subject when hit by it. Commonly called a “zat,” this weapon kills a victim who is shot for a second time by the same gun, while still under the effects of its first attack. A third consecutive shot by a zat completely disintigrates the victim. Alternately, in the “Wormhole Extreme” episode, a fourth shot brings the victim back. [SG1, SGA]
