• naquadah: A type of mineral that generates power. The Ancients used naquadah to construct their vast network of stargates at least 3 million years ago. The addition of this substance to any energy weapon could vastly increase the damage dealt by it. It was mined on several worlds, including Abydos, by the Goa’uld’s human slaves. [SG, SG1, SGA]
